⭐ Competition Team Classes – Important Information

Our Competition Team classes are designed for dancers who are serious about their training and committed to representing the school at competitions. These classes are fast-paced, focused and require a high level of dedication both in and out of the studio.

Dancers are expected to demonstrate:
• Excellent attendance – regular attendance is essential to learn choreography, formations and technique. Missed classes can impact the whole team.
• Commitment & focus – competition routines are built over time and rely on every dancer being present, prepared and giving their best.
• Positive attitude & teamwork – dancers must be respectful, motivated and supportive of their teammates at all times.

Please note that Competition Team classes also involve additional financial commitments, which may include:
• Competition entry fees
• Costumes
• Travel & accommodation (for weekenders/events)
• Workshops, technique classes or additional rehearsals
• Team uniform / kit

These costs are in addition to monthly class fees and vary depending on the competitions and opportunities chosen throughout the season.

Being part of a competition team is a privilege and a commitment. While it is incredibly rewarding, it requires time, consistency and support from both dancers and families. We ask that parents and dancers carefully consider these expectations before accepting or committing to a competition place.
